Fender FSR MIM Body, Orange Tangerine Metallic and a Lone Star Neck.
This upgrade went a little slower, it’s a very interesting setup. If you love the color combo, I do too! Once again, this pick guard didn’t have a home until I ran into this body!! The original neck was a plain jane MIM with an FSR sticker that I sold off, I had this amazingly Lone Star Neck, and it found a home here.
BUILD OUT
Wiring:
This one sports 2 volume control and one single tone control.
The switch is wired into a stock stratocaster configuration until you pull out the push-pull 2nd volume control then it’s a series arrangement of the bridge and middle pickup in position 5.
In order to get 2 volumes a super switch was used.
Pots are Bourns and CTS. The Bridge uses a 300K pot and the middle/Neck use a 250K pot.
Pickups:
Bridge: Seymour Duncan Quarter Pounder Bridge
Middle: Purple Lace Sensor middle
Neck: Blue Lace Sensor
Tuners: Fender Shaller locking tuners are used in a 2 Long 4 Short configuration.
Other: Vintage color accessories, Strap Locks and GOLD pick guard screws.
The body is MINT, any visual flaw is a camera flaw.
