Bruce and Customized Hot Rod Stratocasters
Bruce started playing music at the age of 8 and toured in his twenties with his first Stratocaster. He always had a strong interest in Electronics and anything Science. It was only destiny which led him to pursue an Electrical Engineering degree and study physics at Seattle University. In time his position Electronics Department Chair was interrupted when he decided that his deep love of music and electronics could actually be combined, and he left this post to join the working world as an engineer and pursue his love of music again. It was then natural for him to merge his love of circuits with creating Stratocasters that were literal sonic candy. Player friends started asking him to make them custom loaded pickguards and custom Stratocasters.He embraced this passion and Gombrelli Guitars USA was born.
He says “All players have their idea of what the right tone is for them when they hear it. The right blend of pickups, wiring, look and feel is what gives them their personal favorite Fender Stratocaster.”
One thing for sure; where you find Bruce, there won’t be a Stratocaster very far from him.
