Because this was pilling up on random pages I’m starting to collect REAL measurement values from Fender Pickups. In General it looks like the custom shop version have a much tighter tolerance then the “stock” US versions.

 

  • Custom 69 – 5.3k-5.4k (6 pickups total) – Advertised as 5.8K
  • Custom 65 – 6.0-6.1K
  • Custom 60 – 5.7k-5.8k (10 pickups total)
  • Custom 50 – 5.9k-6.0k (6 pickups total)
  • Custom Shop 54 (N/M) – 5.9k-6.0k (4 pickups total)
  • Custom Shop 54 (B) – 6.3k-6.4k (2 pickups total)
  • Fat 50 (N) – 6.1k-6.1k (4 pickups total)
  • Fat 50 (M) – 6.1k-6.2k (4 pickups total)
  • Fat 50 (B) – 6.3k-6.4k (4 pickups total)
  • Classic 50s – 5.5K to 5.6K (6 pickups) — (pretty close)
  • Yosemite – 9.0K (bridge), 8.6K (Middle), 7.93K (Neck) (1 pickup) – Special Stratocaster
  • Tex Mex – 6.8K (Neck), 6.8K (Middle), 7.6K (Bridge) (1 pickup)  ( 6.5K, 6.4K, 7.4K) set 2 (6.5K, 6.7K, 7.6K) set 3
  • Tex-Mex – Vintage Road Worn 60s – 7.35K (neck), 6.4K (Middle), 7.3K (bridge) – Note the hot Neck pickup
  • Highway One – 5.9K (N), 6.1K (M), 5.8K (B) – 0.3K Variance with no special order. (1 Set)
  • Highway One (Later Model) – 10.6K to 12K – Neck to Bridge with high variance 1.5K (2 pickups total)
  • Texas Special – Neck: 6.03k, Middle: 6.26k, Bridge 6.55k. (1 set)
  • Vintage Noiseless – Neck: 10.5K, Middle 10.25K
  • Fender N3 Noiseless – Neck (6.58K – 2.5H), Middle (6.64K – 2.54H), Bridge (6.54K – 2.36H)
