Fantastic upgrade with many tone options. Second one with an different pickup configuration than the first. Two winners with great sounds from each. Likely will upgrade several others in time. Not sure why major manufacturers don’t mimic these designs. Support this shop. Great communication and custom goodness.

I wasn’t sure what the circuits in this pickguard would allow tonally, but I decided to buy hoping for inspiring new tones. It allows for an amazingly wide palette of traditional Strat sounds, but added new tones I never knew existed. I find myself spending more time on the position 2-4 settings exploring these rich new tones. The Stratocaster Design pickup routing configuration greatly enhanced a very nice 2001 Fender Deluxe. Clean solid soldering also. Amazing upgrade! Buying a second one.

It was an awsome experience buying the Hot Rod 2 Fender Loaded Pickguard. First of all, Bruce go above and beyond to clarify any question that you might have. The product was shipped very quickly and arrived in a nice and protected package with instructions. I installed it in my Squier Bullet and boy… it sounds amazing! Now my Squier sounds not only like a Fender Made in Mexico but with a pull of a button the Dual StratBucker kicks and I have a humbucker like tone. Thanks Stratocaster Design!
