SIMPLE TONE MOD for Fender Stratocasters

One of the best, easiest MOD to make your Stratocaster is to change the tone controls.

A level one MOD is to make the second tone control be either Middle, Bridge or Middle AND Bridge. This way you can customize the 2nd tone control to operate on either the middle, bridge or both of those pickups. The traditional version the 2nd tone is assigned to the Middle. Of course, you could do the same with the neck pickup and take it out of control of any tone control.
